What Is the Docstore?
The Docstore is your personal document library inside Sandman. Upload PDFs, research papers, brand guides, competitor reports, or any reference material and use them directly in your AI chat conversations.
The real power is in the combination: pair your uploaded documents with your live Instagram and TikTok analytics. Ask the AI to cross-reference a trend report with your engagement data, or compare a competitor analysis against your actual performance. Your documents become part of the same conversation as your analytics.
How to Get Started
Navigate to Docstore from the top navigation bar.
Click Upload Document and select a PDF from your computer.
Sandman processes the document and makes it searchable for AI conversations.
Once the status shows "Ready", your document is available for use in chat.
Using Documents in Chat
Attach documents to any conversation
Open a chat session and click the attachment icon (paperclip) in the message input.
Choose Upload from computer for a new document, or Upload from Docstore to browse your existing library.
Select a document, it will appear as a badge above the input field.
Ask any question. The AI will pull relevant sections from your document and combine them with your analytics data to give you grounded, actionable answers.

Managing Documents
Download
Download any document back to your computer from the Docstore page.
Delete
Remove documents you no longer need from the Docstore page.
Deselect in Chat
Click the X on an attached document badge in chat to deselect it from the current conversation.
Privacy & Security
- Every document is scoped to your account. No other user can see or access your documents.
- Documents are stored in a dedicated private storage bucket with row-level security.
